To popularize laws and regulations such as the Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, the School, in light of the work characteristics of its own unit, held a general meeting of all faculty and staff on July 10, 2025, and organized network security training for all faculty and staff through centralized learning and video watching.
The training content included national basic network security laws and regulations, daily Internet security knowledge, and network security cases, guiding all faculty and staff to use the Internet in a legal, civilized and safe manner. At the training session, Professor Zhu Nengwu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and Wu Honghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, respectively carried out special training on ideological education and disciplinary education. This further enhanced the faculty's awareness of confidentiality, network security, data security and anti-fraud. During the video learning, regarding the prevention of online fraud and phishing emails, scenario simulation cases were used to help everyone master practical skills such as identifying abnormal links and verifying senders, and realize the necessity of regularly updating passwords and enabling two-factor authentication.
Through the training, the faculty of the School have deeply realized that network security is the cornerstone of the digital transformation of education. Everyone further clarified the importance of classified and hierarchical data protection, especially the need to strictly implement permission control and desensitization processing in the sharing of scientific research data and the management of student information.
This training not only strengthened legal awareness and protection skills, but also inspired faculty to integrate the concept of network security into teaching and scientific research. In the future, the School will continue to promote the normalization of security training, build a solid defense line for smart education, and provide protection for cultivating high-quality talents in the digital era.
