To in-depth study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the construction of teachers' teams in the new era and effectively strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and conduct, the School of Environment and Energy held a warning education meeting on teachers' ethics and conduct in Conference Room B4-215 on July 10, with all faculty and staff in attendance.

Professor Zhu Nengwu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, gave a lecture titled "2025 Teachers' Ethics Education Course – Strictly Abide by the Eight-Point Regulation and Cultivate Teachers' Ethics and Conduct". He emphasized that the study and education on the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Committee should be thoroughly implemented throughout the entire process of teachers' ethics and conduct construction to promote the healthy and orderly development of teachers' ethics and conduct construction. At the meeting, Secretary Zhu also explained the "Incentive Measures for the Improvement of ESI Discipline Construction in Environment and Ecology", elaborating on the current status of the discipline, promotion goals, incentive measures and other aspects. He made an in-depth analysis of the challenges existing in the ESI discipline construction of Environment and Ecology, and introduced detailed promotion plans for improving the ESI discipline level and discipline competitiveness, including strengthening the construction of scientific research teams, optimizing the allocation of scientific research resources, and enhancing international exchanges and cooperation.

2025 Teachers' Ethics Education Course

Wu Honghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of the School, gave a lecture titled "2025 Warning Education – A Compulsory Course on Teachers' Ethics Self-Discipline" based on recent typical cases of violations of teachers' ethics and conduct, and led everyone to study the 1st to 3rd issues of the disciplinary education learning materials "Sending Discipline to the Door" from the University Disciplinary Inspection Commission. Secretary Wu also emphasized the importance of paying attention to the psychological problems of key students and the management of students during the summer vacation, and reported on the recent situation of students' innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Professor Hu Yun, Vice Dean of the School, reminded everyone of the recent matters related to postgraduate training. Professor Qiu Guanglei, Vice Dean of the School, explained the recent matters related to undergraduate teaching. Professor Chen Yan, Vice Dean of the School, explained the "Implementation Measures for Laboratory Safety Inspection and Hidden Danger Rectification" and the "Management Measures for the Open Sharing of Large-Scale Scientific Research Instruments", and made arrangements for the laboratory safety work during the summer vacation of 2025.
