On February 23rd, 2023, the first luncheon Energy Circle of the School of Environment and Energy was held in B4-102 of the Environment Building with the participation of Party Secretary He Jianhua, Vice President Hu Yun, Vice President Chen Yan, Deputy Party Secretary Wu Honghui, Director of the Office of Student Affairs Lv Xiaoting, counselors of the School, secretaries of all Party branches, and cadres of the Student Council and Graduate Student Association of the School.

During the luncheon, the teachers had a delighted talk with the students. The party branch secretaries and cadres of the Student Council also introduced themselves from study, life and work, which further deepened the mutual understanding between the teachers and student cadres and better promoted the smooth development of student affairs. Secretary He Jianhua affirmed the work of the student cadres and expressed his hope that the student cadres would continue to unite and work together in the future to better serve the students and make a difference. The luncheon was successfully concluded in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

The luncheon has been held since 2022, with one theme per session, covering freshmen talk, academic support, student cadre training and other topics, aiming to let teachers and students communicate face to face and deepen their understanding in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. In this semester, the luncheon was officially referred to as Energy Circle. The School will continue to invite more student organizations and student representatives of each grade to participate in the luncheon, and students are also welcomed to register for participation via their counselors.
