The competition is one of the important competitions for college students in China. The competition attracted nearly 800 athletes from 90 universities. The martial art team of South China University of Technology won three gold medals, four silver medals, two fifth places and one seventh place in group A, and ranked third in the total score of men's team in group A. At the same time, it was awarded the title of sports ethics and Fashion Award by the Organizing Committee of the conference.

In the preparation of this competition, the impact of COVID-19 has hit some of the confidence of some universities in Guangdong. However, the martial art team of our University never stopped training. In compliance with the school's epidemic prevention and control policy, we carefully trained and actively prepared for the fight. Chen Jinfan, a graduate student of the School of Environment and Energy, won the second place in Bagua boxing, the second place in HuaQuan and the fifth place in double equipment. It is hoped that in the follow-up Wushu competitions, we will strive for good results, win glory for the School and SCUT.
