On the afternoon of December 23rd, 2021, the School held the report meeting at B4-215. Li Zheng, Vice President of South China University of Technology, Wang Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Executive Vice President of the Graduate School of South China University of Technology, Meng Xun, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of South China University of Technology, Lin Jingliang, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, Lu Ming, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office attended the meeting, and all faculty members of the School attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Dean Ye Daiqi first made a summary report on the work of the School from 2018 to 2021 on behalf of the School, comprehensively reporting the situation in seven aspects: ideology and politics, leadership, epidemic prevention and safety, completion of annual objectives and tasks, overall development, existing problems and countermeasures, and inspection and rectification by the Party committee. The report focused on the main ideas and achievements of the development of the School, and analyzed the key problems and countermeasures encountered in the development of the School. The report emphasized that the School always adheres to the Xi Jinping's Thoughts on Socialism With Chinese Characterisitcs in the New Era as the guidance, thoroughly implement the spirits in the 19th National Congress of the CPC and the 6th Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, conscientiously learn about the important speeches delivered by th General Secretary Xi in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and speeches about ecological civilization and the higher education, implement the spirit of the 17th Party Congress of the University, constantly enchance the Four Consciousness (maintain political integrity, think in big-picure terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment), strengthen the Four Self-Confidence (confidence in the path, theory, system, and the culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics), achieve the Two Maintenance, fully implement the fundamental tasks of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, integrate the function of Party and government, unite the efforts of teachers and students, overcome difficulties, and strive to promote the high-quality development of the University.

Then, Dean Ye Daiqi, Party Secretary Chen Hangyu, Vice Presidents Zhu Nengwu, Hu Yun and Chen Yan,  Deputy Party Secretary Wu Honghui, and Qin Yexia, full-time Deputy Director of the National Engineering Laboratory, successively made the report on specific personal tenure work in their charge.

Finally, Li Zheng, Vice President of South China University of Technology, made a speech. He fully affirmed the achievements made by the leading group of the college during his term of office. He stressed that since this year is the first year of the 14th five year plan, the School and all teaching staff should comprehensively think about promoting all work with higher quality, and fully implement the fundamental tasks of strengthening moral education and cultivating people in strict accordance with the new requirements of the new era.

After the report meeting, the School conducted discipline education for the faculty and staff, and the faculty and staff assessed and evaluated the administrative personnel of the School.
