In 2020, the School’s cares for the next generation working committee of South China University of Technology launched an educational activity with the theme of learning the anti-epidemic spirit, enhancing four self-confidence and achieving two maintenances. The school carefully organized and planned this activity. Professor Liang Xianluan, one of the five elders of the school, was invited to have a discussion with teachers and students, exchanged views on the issues of why Wuhan can achieve strategic and significant achievements in the fight against COVID-19? Why China has the ability to do so? and analyzed the remarkable advantages of the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics highlighted by China's fight against pandemic, and shared moving stories on the front line of epidemic prevention and control, guided students to inherit and carry forward the spirit of patriotism, and enhance the four self-confidence”. Besides, he organized students to record small videos and write essays.

The teachers and students of our school won 6 excellent essays and 1 excellent small video, and the school won the excellent organization award.
