On September 27th, 2021, the fourth round of the fourth inspection team of the Party committee of South China University of Technology launched the mobilization meeting of the Party committee of the School of Environment and Energy at the lecture hall 215 in the environment building. Tao Shaojing, deputy secretary of the Party committee and deputy leader of the inspection leading group of the University, attended the meeting and put forward requirements for the inspection work. Vice President Li Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee of the University and leader of the contact college, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee of the University and leader of the fourth inspection team, addressed a mobilization speech, Chen Hangyu, Secretary of the Party committee of the University, made a work report of the Party committee. Wu Honghui, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the University, made a work report of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and the meeting was presided over by Dean Ye Daiqi. Sun Lianpo, executive leader of the inspection team, all members of the inspection team and the person in charge of the inspection office of the Party committee attended the meeting, as well as 95 members of the leading group of the school and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting.

In light of the unified arrangement of the school Party committee and under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the inspection team will implement the spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress and second, third, fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the CPC Central Committee, and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussion on inspection tour and the national inspection conference, put the requirements of political inspection in place, and put the two maintenances” as fundamental political tasks, focus on the responsibilities and missions of the inspected Party organizations, pay close attention to the top leaders and the leading groups, follow closely the urgent problems of teachers and students, focus on the implementation of the party's theories, courses, principles and policies and the work deployment of the Ministry of Education, Guangdong Province and schools, implement the strategic deployment of Party self-governance in a comprehensive and strict manner and the Party's organizational path in the new era, and put in place the inspection, audit and supervision and the education on the theme of “stay true to the original aspiration and founding mission”, to examine and rectify the problems and find out political deviations.
