On the morning of October 15, Zhu Min, the vice president of the university and the main person in charge of the science and technology department came to our school to carry out the '14th Five-Year' science and technology development planning research work. Chen Hangyu, the school secretary, professor Zhu Nengwu, the deputy dean in charge of scientific research, directors of some teaching and research institutes and representatives of the scientific research platforms attended the symposium.

At the symposium, Vice President Zhu Min affirmed the school’s scientific research work in recent years, and pointed out that this symposium aimed to investigate theschool’s '14th Five-Year Plan' and the plan to strengthen the school’s scientific research advantages and maintain engineering disciplines during the '14th Five-Year Plan' period. Subsequently, Deputy Dean Zhu Nengwu reported on the overall scientific research situation of the school and the key work directions during the '14th Five-Year Plan' period. Faculty representatives from the school responded positively and exchanged enthusiastically, and discussed typical issues of the school’s scientific research work.
