On the morning of December 16^th, National Engineering Laboratory for VOCs Pollution Control Technology and Equipment(Abbreviation: VOCs National Engineering Laboratory)Technical Committee and Council Meeting and VOCs Pollution Prevention High-end Forum was held in Guangzhou。Academician Hao Jiming from Tsinghua University、academician Hou Lian from Institute of Logistics Science and Technology of Rocket Army、academician Liu Wenqing from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences、Professor Jiang Benji from Taiwan University、research fellow Chai Fahe from Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences、Professor Xiao Fengshou from Zhejiang University、Professor Li Yongdan from Aalto University、Professor Gao Xiang from Zhejiang University、Professor Shao Min from Jinan University、Professor Wang Xinming from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences、Professor Zheng Junyu from Jinan University、Professor Mei Jianping from Southeast University and other experts，school leaders such as vice President Qiu Xueqing of South China University of Technology、Division Chief Ma Honghong of finance office、Deputy Division Chief Shen Tao of Infrastructure Department、Deputy Division Chief Jiang Xinghua of Technology Department, and more than 70 members from 27 governing units attended the meeting.

At the meeting ，Professor Ye Daiqi, Director of VOCs National Engineering Laboratory, and Associate Professor Wu Junliang, Deputy Director of Provincial Key Laboratory separately reported to the participating experts on the work of the VOCs National Engineering Laboratory and the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Atmospheric Environment and Pollution Control in 2018.

　　Academician Hou Lian pointed out that nanomaterials are widely used in catalytic materials，but attention to biosecurity issues is still needed. In addition, the laboratory should summarize the lab results and contributions, and aim to win provincial, ministerial and national awards. Academician Liu Wenqing encouraged VOCs National Engineering Laboratory to form its own unique technical advantages in technology promotion and application. Academician Hao Jiming pointed out that the current construction of VOCs national engineering laboratory had already met the acceptance requirements. Therefore, VOCs national engineering laboratory should fight for an early acceptance while the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Atmospheric Environment and Pollution Control should strive for excellent.
