Conference scene  

 On 6-8 april，The first Symposium of environmental pollution and mine restoration which was jointly held by South China University of Technology, key laboratory of pollution control and ecological restoration of Ministry of Education, key laboratory of Biometallurgy Ministry of Education and academy of environment and energy is held in university city campus. The theme of this conference was strengthening the environmental mine protection and keeping “the green mountains and green hills”.

 The academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Qiu Guangzhou and The academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Liu Congqiang were the president of this conference. The academic committee of this conference is composed of 26 well-known experts. The director of the key Laboratory of pollution control and ecological restoration of Ministry of Education, South China University of Technology Dang Zhi launched this seminar, at the same time, he made an academic report《The transformation process of iron sulfate secondary minerals in metal mining area and the restriction mechanism of heavy metal migration》.
