Introduction of the speaker:
Zhan Jinhua , male, born in 1974. After receiving his Ph.D degree in chemistry from University of sciences and technology of China in 2000, he engaged in research in Department of chemistry in Taiwan University and National Institute for Materials Science respectively. He joined the College of Chemistry and Chemical engineering in 2006 and serving as the associated director of Key laboratory of colloid and interface chemistry in Shandong university, director of Structural composition physical properties testing center and editorial member of SCIENCE CHINA Materials. He is mainly engaged in the study of surface modification and application in rapid detection and catalytic degradation of refractory environmental harmful substances of nanomaterials.
Prof. Zhan undertakes the researches of more than 10 research projects including National Key Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) and the Major Research plan of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was elected in New Century Talents Supporting Program of the Ministry of Education in 2007 and gained Shandong Outstanding Youth Funds. He has published more than 130 papers in journals including Angewandte Chemie、Advanced Materials、Applied Catalysis B: Environmental、Environmental Science & Technology, which have more than 4600 citations (H-index 40).
