On the afternoon of December 21th 2015, Chonto Environmental scholarship donation ceremony was held at B4-215 in building of school of environment and energy .

Present at the donation ceremony were Yili Lu, the CEO of Chongto (hereinafter referred to CT) group limited and 93th alumni majored in biology and chemical engineering in SCUT, Juwen Xu, executive director, Qijin Liu ,SCUT vice secretary of the Party committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, managers of CT limited group, Yan Chen and Zhonghua Xu , director and vice director of SCUT education development respectively, Daiqi Ye, dean of school of Environment and energy(SEE), Jiangong Zhang, secretary of SEE, Yaohua Wu ,vice secretary of SEE and more than 100 representatives of teachers and students.

 During the ceremony, Jinqi Liu, representing SCUT, accepted a 3 million cheque from alumni Yili Lu and presented a monument, a memorial crystal and a archive album to Lu. The donation will be  used to set up CT Environmental scholarship, encouraging students of SCUT to work hard and tackle tough. It also aims to promote the cultivation of talents with high environmental professionalism and propel the development of environmental protection..

 Yili Lu said in his speech that being enthusiastic about public welfare and concerning about education is necessary for a enterprise with sense of social responsibility. Setting up CT Environmental scholarship aimed to encourage students to have high aspirations, improve ourselves and developing in an all-around way. It also aimed to cultivate more environmental specialized talents, take on social responsibility and improve communication and cooperation on technical innovation and talents cultivation with the school of environment and energy

 On behalf of SCUT , Jinqi Liu ,secretary of SCUT expressed appreciation to CT ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP LIMITED and said that we were looking forward to strengthening the cooperation between collage and enterprise so we can work together to cultivate the students and train successors for environmental protion. We hopes that students of SCUT be grateful, have a down-to-earth attitude, work hard and give back to society.
