On Oct. 8, 2012, Dr. A. Scott Voorhees from USEPA　visited SESE and gave a lecture on "Using Academic Research to Inform EPA Policy Decisions: understanding how the Agency applies academic research to set air quality standards and quantify risk". Dr. Scott Voorhees took PM 2.5 as an example, introduced on the procedures on defining the standards and problems need to be considered.
