Biography:

Yan Huang is currently an Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology. She received her bachelor's degree from Hunan University in 2013 and her Ph.D. from South China University of Technology in 2018. Dr. Huang has conducted research at several institutions, including the National University of Singapore and Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School. Her research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence. She has led projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Guangzhou Science and Technology Program, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. She has also participated in numerous national, provincial, and school-enterprise collaboration projects. Dr. Huang has published more than 30 high-level academic papers and received awards, including the Second Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019 and the First Prize of the Guangdong Electronic Information Industry Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021.
