 Biography:

 Nie Yongwei is currently an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at South China University of Technology, having presided over more than ten projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan. He has been awarded the Second Prize of Natural Science of Hubei Province, the First Prize for Outstanding Academic Papers in Natural Science of Hubei Province, and the Best Paper Award at CCF CAD/CG 2022. He has published or had accepted over 50 papers in top-tier journals and conferences in the field of computer graphics, including the ACM Transactions on Graphics, SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, IJCV, TVCG, TIP, CVPR, ICCV, NIPS, and ICLR, among which over 30 are CCF-A ranked papers where he is the corresponding author or first author. He has applied for 20 patents and obtained authorization for 13 invention patents, with his research spanning computer graphics, computer vision, and related areas.



 Example:

 I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science at Nanjing University in 1999, and my PhD in Computer Science at Nanjing University in 2005. I joined the Nanjing University as an assistant professor in 2005 , worked as an associate professor from 2008, and obtained professor in 2017. I have been on leave from Nanjing University from August 2010 to September 2011 to visit EECS Department and Statistics Department at UC Berkeley.
