 Biography:

 Chen Qiong, is a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and a Member of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). She leads the development of Discrete Mathematics —a course recognized as both a "First-Class Undergraduate Course of Guangdong Province" and a "National First-Class Undergraduate Course (Online-Offline Hybrid Mode)".

 She has presided over projects under the Ministry of Education’s "Industry-University Cooperation for Collaborative Education Program", the "Guangdong Provincial Online Open Course Development Project", and the "Higher Education Teaching & Research Project for Universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area". Additionally, he/she has contributed to numerous research programs, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and the Guangdong Science and Technology Research Initiative. She also led the development of the Discrete Mathematics Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

 Her research focuses on machine learning algorithms and applications, as well as computer image recognition—with specific expertise in image recognition and semantic segmentation under challenging scenarios such as imbalanced distribution, long-tailed distribution, few-shot learning, and zero-shot learning. He/She has published over 50 academic papers in renowned domestic and international journals and top conferences, obtained 8 authorized national invention patents, and 5 software copyrights. She has also edited and published 2 textbooks and was selected into the "Excellent Teacher Award Program for University Computer Majors".

  1.  In 2023, *Discrete Mathematics* was recognized as a national first-class undergraduate course (online-offline hybrid mode) in the second batch.

  2.   In 2021, she was selected into the "Excellent Teacher Award Program for Computer Majors in Institutions of Higher Education".  

  3.  In 2021, Discrete Mathematics course won the Excellent Case Award for MOOCs and Online-Offline Hybrid Teaching from the Joint Conference of University Online Open Course Alliances.  

  4.  In 2020, the MOOC of *Discrete Mathematics* was rated as an Excellent Online Open Course of Guangdong Province.
