 Biography:

 Kejing He, Ph.D., is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT). He is the director of the Guangdong Provincial Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Computing in Undergraduate Universities, the deputy director of the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Guangdong Institute of Electronics, and the deputy director of the Internet of Things and Network Professional Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society. He is a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), an executive committee member of the CCF Technical Committee on High Performance Computing, and an executive committee member of the CCF Technical Committee on Computer Education. Prof. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Teacher in Guangdong Institutions of Higher Learning, a Pearl River Science and Technology Nova, and was selected for the Guangdong Special Support Program for High-Level Talents. His accolades include the China Scholarship Council-IBM Scholarship, the SCUT-Huawei "Intelligent Base" Teaching Award, the Ministry of Education-Huawei Intelligent Base "Pillar Teacher" title, and the "Intelligent Base" Huawei Cloud and Computing Pioneer Teacher title. He received the second prize of the Guangdong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and was a participant in the "China Education and Research Grid" project, which won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

 He previously served as the Head of the Department of Network Engineering. His main research interests are artificial intelligence and big data processing, as well as high-performance computing and cloud computing. He has led and participated in over 40 national, provincial, and other scientific research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan's major special projects, and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. In recent years, he has published over 80 SCI and EI-indexed papers in prestigious journals and conferences such as AAAI, IJMLC, JBHI, and PRE. He holds more than 20 authorized invention patents.

 He teaches courses on "Foundations of Intelligent Computing" and "High-Performance Computing and Cloud Computing." The latter has been recognized as a Ministry of Education-IBM Industry-University Cooperation Comprehensive Professional Reform Boutique Course, a Guangdong Provincial Boutique Resource-Sharing Course, a Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperation Collaborative Education Project Co-construction Course, and a first-class undergraduate course at the SCUT-Huawei "Intelligent Base" Industry-Education Integration Collaborative Education Base. He has also led teaching and research reform projects, such as the Guangdong Provincial Comprehensive Professional Reform Pilot (for the Network Engineering major).
