　　1.报告主题：Linker mediated self-assembly and superselectivity

　　2.报告摘要：

　　Multivalent interactionsare not only fundamental principles of various biological processes but alsoprovide a practical mechanism for programmable self-assembly in multicomponentengineered systems. In this talk, I will offer an in-depth understanding ofsoft matters involving multivalent interactions, especially those of alinker-mediated nature. I will introduce the linker-mediated strategy andreveal non-trivial entropy driven phase behavior in linker-mediated DNA-coatedcolloids . Second, I will focus on the super-selectivity that emerges fromthe cooperativity of multivalent linker-mediated binding,  which serves as a design principle forsandwich-like biosensing systems .

　　3.报告人简介：

夏秀杨博士，德国慕尼黑大学洪堡学者博士后研究员，2018年本科毕业于北京化工大学，2023年博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学，师从倪冉教授和Massimo Pica Ciamarra教授。目前主要从事软物质和生物物理方面的计算与理论研究，包括胶体自组装、高分子网络理论、多价生物传感和大分子凝聚物的功能调控等问题。近年来于PNAS, Science Advances, PRL等期刊以第一作者发表相关研究论文多篇，并担任PRL, PR Research等物理学权威杂志的独立审稿人。
