Professor Lin Yuan Receiving the Award

Professor Lin Yuan's intelligent vehicle team focuses on reinforcement learning and its applications in energy-saving and intelligent driving. For the lane change decision-making problem in this competition, the team utilized reinforcement learning to train lane change decisions in traffic flow simulation software, and then conducted lateral and longitudinal motion planning to obtain lane change trajectories. The model possesses a certain level of safety, efficiency, and comfort, and can quickly make reasonable decisions in multi-vehicle scenarios, ultimately standing out in the competition and won the second prize.

Team Award Certificate
