On April 10th, our school and Hunan Renrenjie International Cleaning Technology Group Co., Ltd. held a joint laboratory unveiling ceremony for intelligent environmental sanitation robots and equipment in the D1-b305 conference room¹. The ceremony was attended by Academy Dean Chen Xiaoqi, Party General Branch Secretary Ouyang Bin, Vice Dean Xie Longhan, Project Leader Associate Professor Wu Kai, and Renrenjie Group General Manager Zhang Pengcheng¹.
During the ceremony, Academy President Chen Xiaoqi congratulated Renrenjie Group, Associate Professor Wu Kai and his team on their cooperation in building the laboratory. He introduced our school's faculty and scientific research platform construction situation and said that the joint laboratory relies on the talent team and scientific research platform of our school and Renrenjie Group's professional experience in the field of environmental sanitation to develop intelligent cleaning robots and equipment for urban road cleaning, research green energy, build a smart urban environmental sanitation operation platform, provide technical support for efficient unmanned cleaning operations of urban streets and digital operation management throughout the process¹.
Renrenjie Group General Manager Zhang Pengcheng expressed that under the macro background of national high-quality development strategy, technological innovation and digital wave are the development mainstream of the environmental protection industry. Renrenjie Group will fully establish a good cooperative relationship with our school to create a new benchmark for school-enterprise cooperation in the industry¹.
The intelligent environmental sanitation robot and equipment joint laboratory will be committed to conducting research on cutting-edge technologies such as cleaning robot design, unmanned driving environment perception, autonomous decision-making system for robot cleaning operations, multi-robot collaborative cleaning, garbage identification classification, cloud control and edge computing as well as long-term cooperation in talent training while creating economic benefits for enterprises. At the same time, it will promote technological progress in environmental sanitation-related fields and cultivate professional talents¹.
