On March 27th, WUSIE held a school-wide meeting to focus on the work plan and deployment of the high-quality development of the college¹. The meeting was presided over by Ouyang Bin, Secretary of the Party General Branch, and attended by the college's leadership team and all faculty members¹. During the meeting, Ouyang Bin conveyed the spirit of the school's conference on promoting high-quality development, comprehensive strict governance of the party, and talent work conference, and made work arrangements from the perspective of college party building and ideological and political education¹.

Dean Chen Xiaoqi emphasized that the college adheres to 'three-in-one', coordinates and promotes teaching, scientific research, and talent work, sets up a college-level talent work group to attract high-end talents from all over the world, uses multiple measures to continuously explore the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, truly achieving 'building nests and attracting phoenixes' ¹. The college encourages teachers to go deep into enterprises to help solve practical technical problems, actively carry out school-enterprise production-study-research cooperation; in terms of graduate education, it further expands the scope of graduate enrollment majors, establishes a graduate education model that runs through all English master's and doctoral degrees, explores overseas international graduate enrollment models, and promotes local internationalization concepts in the college¹.

Afterwards, other members of the college's leadership team made reports on teaching management, school-enterprise cooperation, organizational scientific research and other aspects. They formulated detailed work plans for inviting overseas experts to give lectures and cooperative teaching, organized scientific research in an organized manner, optimized undergraduate teaching training programs, led students to go deep into enterprise practice and other aspects¹.

The faculty members were deeply inspired by the college's careful planning and layout for future development and are full of confidence in future development. The college will continue to gather strength to promote high-quality development of various undertakings and better serve national major strategies and economic development in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area¹.
