On the morning of February 21, the first day of the new semester, Shaojing Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Guangzhou International Campus, comes to our institute to investigate and guide the work of the new semester, and has a discussion with the party and government leadership of the college.

Bin Ouyang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the school, reports the return of teachers and students at the beginning of the semester, the current faculty building of the College, and the plan and arrangement of various work in the new semester, analyzes the difficulties and problems in the current development, and proposes the current main work ideas of the College.

Shaojing Tao carefully listens to the work report of the college, deeply understands the faculty construction, laboratory housing, international cooperation, etc. of the college, and inquiries about the difficulties in the development of the college. Shaojing Tao requires that the college should continue to promote the connotation construction and development. First, it should pay attention to the quality and export of student training, and strive to practice the educational concept of student growth as the center, which should be implemented in all aspects of the school; Second, relying on disciplines, we should constantly promote the innovation of student training mode and speed up the training of new engineering interdisciplinary talents; Third, we should shoulder the heavy burden bravely, blaze new trails, and promote the continuous development and improvement of the college's cross disciplines.

At the symposium, the participants put forward suggestions on the construction and development of the college based on the actual situation of the unit. The leaders of the school say that in the new semester, the school will further improve the management system, speed up the construction of the laboratory platform, closely focus on the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, work together to promote the connotation construction and development of the college, and help Guangzhou International Campus to achieve a comprehensive leap in the effectiveness of local internationalization school running and international talent training.

Relevant principals from various institutions of Guangzhou International Campus and Junde College and Mingcheng College accompanied the investigation.
