On March 16th, the South China University of Technology Industrial Software Special Event of the Huawei Developer Tour at Prestigious Universities with the theme of "Cultivating Talents, Creating the Future" was held on the Higher Education Mega Center Campus. Li Zheng, the vice president of the university, and Zhang Shunmao, the senior vice president of Huawei, attended the event. Heads of the Huawei Strategy Research Institute, the Huawei Cloud Developer Alliance Product Department, the Talent Group of the Digital Industrial Software Alliance, and relevant enterprises in the domestic industrial software field, as well as teacher and student representatives of the university, a total of more than 500 people participated in the event. During the event, both sides unveiled the plaque for the Collaborative Education Base for the Integration of Industry and Education in Industrial Software.
Li Zheng pointed out in his speech that South China University of Technology and Huawei are both located in the forefront of the reform and opening up, possessing strong innovation genes and profound geographical advantages. Through the Huawei Developer Tour at Prestigious Universities event, school-enterprise cooperation will be further strengthened, the collaborative mechanism for talent cultivation will be explored, the education and teaching reform of the school will be promoted, and together they will play a greater role in the cultivation of industrial software talents and technological breakthroughs.
Unveiling Ceremony of the Collaborative Education Base for the Integration of Industry and Education in Industrial Software
Zhang Shunmao said that Huawei will organize relevant enterprises to "pair up" with universities, jointly develop industrial software-related courses, courseware, textbooks, and cloud-based practical training environments, jointly establish virtual teaching and research offices, and conduct teacher training. Enterprises will also provide more internship, practical training, and job opportunities to help students improve their practical abilities.
