Welcome to the School of Mathematics hereat South China University of  Technology.The School’s history can be tracked back to the establishment of the Department of Mathematics in 1952 when the South China University of Technology (SCUT) was founded. Over the past 60 years, especially after SCUT being selected as one of the key universities under Chinese national education development plans named"Project 211 for Higher Education" and "Project 985 for World-class University", the School has made significant progress in bothresearch and teaching. Currently the School of Mathematics  is not only a well reputed center for highlevel research, but also an important high education base in the south China region for high quality education in the fields of Mathematics.
