澳大利亚悉尼大学博士，华南理工大学新闻与传播学院博士后。现为华南理工大学新闻与传播学院助理教授，粤港澳大湾区国际传播研究院专职秘书、研究员。主持多项省部级项目，担任多份SSCI期刊审稿专家，现为国际传播协会（ICA）和国际媒介与传播研究学会（IAMCR）会员。主要研究方向为国际传播、平台治理、数据挖掘。
