The University Town Campus of South China University of Technology is located in the southeast of Guangzhou University Town, covering an area of 976,300 square meters and a total building area of 683,200 square meters. Construction of the University Town Campus began in October 2003, and it officially opened in August 2004. Currently, approximately 17,000 students from all over the country reside and live on the University Town Campus.
