The Confucius Institute at Lancaster University

    兰卡斯特大学孔子学院由中国华南理工大学和英国兰卡斯特大学合作共建，于2011年12月20日正式成立。
    The Confucius Institute at Lancaster Universitywas officially launched on the 20thDecember, 2011 with the partnership between Lancaster University and the South China University of Technology.
    兰卡斯特大学孔子学院坐落在兰卡斯特大学校园内，不仅向全校学生开设汉语和中国文化学分课程，而且还为兰卡斯特大学教职员工和学生、周边社区的学校开设非全日制汉语和文化课程，并将汉语和中国文化推广延伸到当地及英格兰西北部的社区和企业。
    It is located on the campus of Lancaster University and committed to providingdegree coursesin Chinese language and culture for students across the University as well as part-time classes and workshops in thelanguageand culture for students and staff of the University, schools in localcommunities and businesses in northwest England.
    兰卡斯特大学孔子学院充分利用两家合作院校在管理、创新和可持续发展等方面的学科优势，争取成为中英两国文化交流的一个重要平台。
