Exchange Programs for Students

The school has always attached great importance to maintaining close cooperation with world-renowned universities, scientific research institutes and multinational enterprises in the field of student training, creating a good international atmosphere for the school through the internationalization of talent training and driving the overall improvement of the school's international education level. At present, the overseas cooperative joint training programs for undergraduates that the students of our two majors participate in are: The University of Edinburgh (2 + 2 undergraduate dual bachelor program), The Sino-French School of Engineering at the University of Nantes (3 + 1 + 2 undergraduate double-degree program), and The University of New South Wales (2 + 2 undergraduate dual bachelor program). After years of cooperation, the joint training program of the Sino-French School of Engineering at the University of Nantes and the University of New South Wales in Australia has been developed and stable, and many students have successfully graduated.

Our school has established a short-term exchange study project with The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and The Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2018, 23 students from the 2017 Ny Tsi-ze class of Applied Physics in our school conducted an exchange study activity for nearly one week; our school has cooperation and exchange projects with the University of Missouri: the Big Data Project of The University of Missouri, in which 13 students have participated in 2018; our school has a cooperation and exchange project with The University of California, Santa Barbara: The UCSB Summer Physics and Materials Exchange Project, and plans to send 15 students in 2019.

In 2020, our school and The National University of Singapore established a cooperation and exchange program (3 + 1 + 2 undergraduate double-degree program). In 2021, 4 students from two majors of grade 2018 have participated in the program. The students participating in the cooperation and exchange program are currently studying at the Suzhou Research Institute of The National University of Singapore. After graduation in 2022, they will continue their postgraduate studies at The National University of Singapore.
