    Wen Xinhua

    Personal profile

    Wen Xin Hua, Professor and PhD Supervisor. Her research focuses on metamaterials for acoustic and electromagnetic waves, time-varying control, and topological physics. She has published over ten papers as the first author/co-first author in international journals such as Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, and Science Advances. Her research work has been awarded the Best Application Paper Award by the American Physical Society. She serves as a reviewer for journals such as Physical Review Letters, Communications Physics, and Physical Review B, and as a guest editor for the journal Micromachines.

    Education and Work Experience

    From September 2018 to November 2022, I pursued my PhD in Physics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

    From September 2015 to July 2018, Wuhan University, Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, Master's Degree

    From September 2011 to July 2015, I studied Microelectronics at Guangdong University of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor's degree. From May 2025 to present, I am a Professor at South China University of Technology. From September 2023 to May 2025, I served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Hong Kong. From September 2022 to September 2023, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
