Personal profile

Deng Weiyin, a professor at the School of Physics and Optoelectronics, is a selected candidate for the National Youth Talent Program. He obtained his Ph.D. in Science from the School of Physics, Nanjing University in 2017. Currently, he is primarily engaged in research on topological physics and its application in sound field regulation. He has published over 40 SCI papers in prestigious academic journals both domestically and internationally, including Science, Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B/Applied, and Applied Physics Letters. He has led 7 ongoing and completed national and provincial projects, including the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Project and the Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program Project of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
