    Li Pengcheng
    Title:Associate Professor

    Personal profile

Li Pengcheng, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Graduated from Lanzhou University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013, and obtained a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Peking University in 2018. After graduating with a PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Sun Yat sen University and Peking University. During my postdoctoral research, I received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Theoretical Physics Program and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. At present, more than 20 academic papers have been published in journals such as Journal of High Energy Physics, Physical Review D, and European Physical Journal C, with a total citation of about 700 times.

    Research directions

    1. Black hole physics, including black hole shadows, photon polarization, and gravitational lensing.

    2. Gravitational wave physics, including the use of post Newtonian expansion methods to calculate the waveform of systems with equal mass ratios during the approach phase, the use of black hole perturbation theory to calculate the waveform of systems with extreme mass ratios during the approach phase, and the use of gravitational waves to test general relativity. 3. Theoretical aspects of classical black holes, including the construction of black hole solutions, dynamic analysis of black holes, and the correspondence between gravity and fluids.

    Education and Work Experience

Education experience: Doctor of Science in Theoretical Physics from Peking University from September 2013 to July 2018, Bachelor of Science in Physics Base Class from Lanzhou University from September 2009 to July 2013. Work experience:

September 2021 present: Pre employment Assistant Professor, School of Physics and Optoelectronics, South China University of Technology. July 2019 to July 2021. Postdoctoral Fellow, Peking University. July 2018 to June 2019. Postdoctoral Fellow, Sun Yat sen University.
