It is a research team mainly composed of young people, combined with middle-aged and young people, with a
reasonable structure of disciplines and majors. The core members include 4 national outstanding young people, 4 national outstanding young people, and 2 high-level imported young talents from overseas. The team's main research directions are new luminescent materials, new optical fibers, high-performance fiber lasers, and laser application technologies, achieving a full chain development layout from laser glass fiber to laser technology, laser applications, and industrialization. After nearly 20 years of development, the team has achieved a series of innovative research results and published over 900 SCI papers in journals such as Nature and Science; Authorized over 130 patents. Received 2 second prizes for national technological inventions, 12 awards including the He Liang He Li Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award and the Provincial and Ministerial First Prize. We have undertaken more than 40 projects including the National Key Research and Development Program, the Ministry of Science and Technology's 973 and 863 projects, national major scientific research instruments, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation.
