The team is mainly engaged in electroacoustics, psychological and physiological acoustics, acoustic signal processing research work. The research work on binaural hearing and sound reproduction is advanced in the world and leading in China. A rapid measurement system of head-related transfer function was constructed, and the only head-related transfer function database of a real human subject was established in the world. In the virtual hearing environment, three-dimensional space sound playback, artificial hearing, systematic application of basic research, obtained with independent intellectual property rights of the patent series and has been industrialized. Two monographs in Chinese and English were published, and the research on spatial sound won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education in 2018.
