Artificial microstructure materials show many characteristics in light, electricity, sound, heat and magnetism that conventional materials do not have, and have broad application prospects in many fields. The team carries out original basic and applied research on micro and nano photonics, laser and ultrasound technologies and their applications in basic science, information, energy, health care, industrial production, environmental monitoring, national defense and military and other major fields, with equal emphasis on theory, calculation and experiment.

In the past three years, the team has worked in Nature Materials, Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Physical Review Letters, Light: Science & Applications, Advanced Optical Materials, npj Computational Materials, Particle, Photonics Research, Optics Many reviews and original papers have been published in important journals such as Letters and Physical Review A/B, and the results have been cited more than 1000 times, and many papers have been selected as ESI hot papers and highly cited papers.

In 2016, it was introduced by Guangdong Province's Pearl River Talent Plan innovation and entrepreneurship team.
