    Title:Associate Professor

    Personal profile

Kuang Quan, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. From 2011 to 2013, I worked at the R&D center of Dow Chemical (DOW) Greater China headquarters and the New Energy Research Institute of New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (ATL) in Shanghai, engaged in the research and development of next-generation polymer lithium-ion batteries and their new positive electrode materials; From August 2019 to August 2020, I was sent by the government to visit Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to conduct research on advanced energy storage devices and their nano energy materials. Currently Energy Storage Mater., Small,  J.  Mater.  Chem,  Nanoscale,  J.  Power Sources, Electrochimica Acta He has published over 50 SCI papers in international journals and has been cited more than 500 times. Applied for/authorized more than 10 Chinese invention patents. In recent years, I have presided over or participated in nearly ten projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Project, Youth Fund Project, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Key Project, General Project, and Basic Research Funds for Central Universities.

    Research directions

I have rich research and development experience in the field of polymer lithium-ion batteries and their positive and negative electrode materials. Currently, I am engaged in the study of high-performance lithium/sodium/zinc ion battery electrode materials and their embedding physics, with a main research interest in the design and synthesis of new battery materials.
