Zhao Yanming, a professor and doctoral supervisor at South China University of Technology, was born in June 1962.
Currently, 104 papers published in international journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Nanoscale, J. Mater. Chem., Nanotechnology, Phys. Rev. B, Appl. Phys. Lett., and J. Power Sources have been indexed by SCI (80 papers as the first or corresponding author); the published papers have been cited 1723 times by journals such as Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Mater., Phys. Rev. B, and Appl. Phys. Lett., with 3 papers cited more than 100 times by the corresponding author in a single paper; 2 papers by the corresponding author have entered the ESI Highly Cited Papers list. In recent years, I have presided over more than 20 national and provincial projects, including the Fok Ying Tung Young Teachers Fund Project, key projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and have applied for 15 national invention patents (9 of which have been granted).
Currently engaged in research on nanomaterials and lithium-ion battery materials; recruiting master's degree candidates in the Nanomaterials and Novel Energy Materials direction in the Materials Physics and Chemistry and Condensed Matter Physics majors, and doctoral degree candidates in the Nanomaterials and Novel Energy Materials direction in the Physical Electronics major. Students majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, materials, and other related fields are welcome to apply!

Education and Work Experience
Graduated with a bachelor's degree in physics in 1984;
Graduated with a master's degree in theoretical physics from 1987 to 1990.
From 1993 to 1996, I studied under academician Liang Jingkui and obtained a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
From December 1997 to February 2001, I conducted postdoctoral research at Bar-Ilan University in Israel and the National Center for Materials Research in France.

Director of the Chinese Crystallographic Society, member of the International Center for Diffraction Data (ICDD), member of the X-ray Diffraction Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial X-ray Diffraction Professional Committee, member of the Expert Committee of the Advanced Battery and Materials Provincial Industry University Research Innovation Alliance, member of the Academic Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Storage Materials, member of the Academic Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Materials, consultant of the Guangdong Provincial Standardization Technical Committee for Power Batteries, and selected as the second batch of provincial-level training objects in Guangdong Province under the Thousand and Ten Plan in 2002.
