Personal profile
Graduated from the Department of Optical Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1988 with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 1988-1991 Studied for a master's degree in Wuhan Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After graduation, he worked in the Institute of Laser and Spectroscopy, Sun Yat sen University, and the State Key Laboratory of Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy. Obtained a PhD in Science from Sun Yat sen University in 1997. I have led and completed research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. Currently, there are multiple ongoing research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and horizontal projects.
Research directions
Key technologies for developing solar energy for civilian use using modern spectroscopic techniques and combining optics, photochemistry, and modern spectroscopic techniques
Education and Work Experience
From June 1999 to June 2000, I conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. In 2000, I was promoted to associate researcher at Sun Yat sen University. From 2001 to 2005, I conducted research at the University of Arizona and the University of Tennessee in the United States, as well as the University of Victoria in Canada. In October 2005, I became a professor at South China University of Technology.
