Youyong Yuan’s research group is mainly devoted to the design and synthesis of fluorescent probes and their application in the fields of bioimage and cancer treatment. The specific research directions are as follows:

(1) Design and construction of dual-key-and-lock fluorescent probes and polymeric prodrug: Develop polymeric fluorescent probe with response to tumor microenvironment and reduce the background signal of fluorescent probes and prodrugs, thus enhance the fluorescence signal and the activated drugs in tumor tissue;

 (2) Biorthogonal click chemical reaction for tumor specific imaging and treatment: Using copper-free biorthogonal click reaction to deliver imaging agents, drugs, etc. to tumor tissue with improved specificity and efficacy of cancer treatment.
