Recently, the research team led by Associate Professor Zhou Taojie has made new progress in the field of photonic crystal semiconductor nanolasers operating in the 1550 nm optical communication band. Their research results were published under the title Ultra-Compact Twisted Photonic Crystal Semiconductor Nanolasers with Ultra-Small Mode Volumes in Laser & Photonics Reviews on November 16, and under the title One-Dimensional Moiré Flat-Band Nanolasers with Stable Single-Mode Emission in Nano Letters on November 14. The aforementioned research was independently completed by Associate Professor Zhou Taojie’s team, with South China University of Technology as the sole affiliated institution. Yilan Wang, a master's student enrolled in 2023, is the first author, and Associate Professor Zhou Taojie is the corresponding author.
