Dr. Baiquan Liu

“The 10th China College Students of the Year” was co-sponsored by People’s Daily online and College Student Magazine, supervised by the Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Young League in Dec. 2015. Baiquan Liu, a doctoral student from School of Materials Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, was named the Person of the Year.

Baiquan Liu is a PhD student of Grade 2012, majored in Material Physics and Chemistry. He is the Han nationality, a member of communist Party of China. He has published 25 SCI papers as the first author, and 3 invention patents. His scientific achievements in the year of 2014 was published in the Scientific Reports, and listed in the Nature Photonics as the Research Highlight.
