Research direction:

Modeling of transformation crystallography in martensitic phase transitions based on interfacial defect theories, the parent-martensite interface structure is of particular interest. Martensitic transformations in Ti-Mo, ZrO2, Pu-Ga and ferrous alloys have been studied in the light of the newly developed Topological Model; investigations on Ni-Ti and Ni-Mn-X(X=Ga, Sn, Sb) shape memory alloys are undergoing.
