The Second Lecture of Foreign Engineering Project Management which was hosted by SCUT Construction Management Society was held successfully in the Academic Hall of Transportation Building on May 20th, 2016. Chief Engineer Mr. YiQun Zou who works in Guangzhou Wanan Construction Supervision CO.LTD was invited to give this lecture. Mr. Zou has more than 20 years’ experience of managing foreign engineering projects and managed more than 30 foreign projects. 

The speaker

During the lecture, Mr. Zou gave us a detailed description of the foreign engineering situation. The contents covered many aspects of foreign engineering project management, which included the features of projects and the influence brought by society and culture.
With the examples based on real experiences, Mr. Zou introduced plenty of problems and troubles which might occur during the projects. He also shared the effective solutions with students, which is very helpful and useful. Plenty of interesting experiences were also shared by Mr. Zou. The teaching staffs and students had an enjoyable time together.
