On March 27, 2016, under the leadership of Prof. ZHANG Yuan, Prof. WANG Yousong and other teachers, all the students in Dept. of Construction Management 2012 went to Shenzhen for the graduation internship trip in different position and horizons. By visiting the first term of security housing in Shenzhen Pinghu financial and modern service industry area and the 9th line BT project 9102/9702 section of Shenzhen urban subway, we not only integrated and consolidated the professional knowledge which we learnt in classes and acquired information of the cutting-edge building technology during visiting the actual construction project, also lay a firm foundation for study and career in the future.

 We left for the Shenzhen practice project at 6:30 in the morning with full expectation. After two-hour driving we arrived at the first building project, the first term of security housing in Shenzhen Pinghu financial and modern service industry area. In order to better combine the actual project and the knowledge during our visit, the project leader introduced the related information through PPT such as the project background, general situation, the project schedule, the difficulties, the creative technologies and the safety precautions. The project manager especially exhorted us to be careful and safe and we should better wear the safety helmet and listen to their guidance. After, we visited the laying engineering area and the site concrete pouring engineering area and the other working area in two groups. The project leader introduced the key points and difficulties in construction and answered our questions seriously during visiting.
When talking about the safety problems appeared in security housing, the leader pointed out that as the executor of the government livelihood project, we should pay attention to the quality and safety of the project for providing the real guarantee for citizens, which is the necessary literacy of construction manager.

After that, we rushed to the next destination - the 9102/9702 section of Shenzhen Urban Metro Line 9 BT project, namely line 9 Mei Jing station. The person in charge of leading us to twenty or thirty meters underground in the subway station, the project has been basically completed the construction, track laying and other engineering, and starting the decoration work. The leader introduced the special points of the subway project construction, such as the layout situation of equipment installation, air-raid shelters engineering requirements, insulating belt arrangement etc., allowing us to learn more new knowledge and new concepts.

Then we also visited the construction site of the underground pedestrian passage exit. The construction mainly uses push bench, large jacks and other equipment to directly boost the prefabricated rectangular channel member into rock. And the mud circulation guided the cut soil flowing out the site. There have been a hundred meters successfully advanced after boosting. It is the first time to learn to construction using push bench, which made us feel fresh. According to the leader, the technology is generally used for the laying of underground pipelines and underground pedestrian passage construction while the subway tunnel excavation still uses shield tunneling machine for construction. 

After visiting the projects, we went to the Shenzhen Bay Sports center at about 4pm. With blue sky and white clouds against the background, this high-level urban complex seems more glamorous. The smooth curve stretches seems to tell everyone the vitality of Shenzhen. The project occupies the center of the city, are also sitting on scarce multiple landscape -- 15 km coastal promenade which not only collects a moving scenes in this coastal city, also have no interference of the traffic lights, and vehicle. And it is also the only green running path recognized by the city spire circle. In the tree square, the students have a photo together and we were happy as the gorgeous rosy clouds.

Through visiting and learning of the two projects, we consolidated the learned knowledge and broadened our horizons from the practice. This is both a practice summary on the eve of graduation, and a rare pre working experiences for us.
