Ten students of Engineering Management Society led by an SCET teacher Wu Fan visited Department of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) for academic exchange on January 19, 2015.

SCET Engineering Management Society visited HKU and exchanged with HKU students
Prof. Li Ningyan, deputy dean of Department of Real Estate and Construction at HKU, introduced the development of his department, and then organized an exchange between HKU undergraduates and members of SCET Engineering Management Society. The two sides discussed their own cultural information, learning mode, research methods, and the market of real estate and construction engineering in both Guangdong Province and HK.

After the meeting of exchange, members of SCET Engineering Management Society attended prof. Li's Studio, a specific course of Department of Real Estate and Construction. The Studio showed a scientific teaching mode that students were active learners during their learning. SCET Visitors felt admiration for HKU students' English expression, logics and version.

After that, the students visited many places, such as the Department's workshops for undergraduates and labs for graduates, HKU library and Chi Wah Learning Commons (a nice self-study center for students). SCET visitors were deeply impressed by the strong academic atmosphere of research at HKU, its advanced laboratory equipment and world-leading edge research.
