Profile:

Guangzheng Yu is Professor of Acoustics at Acoustic Laboratory in School of Physics and Optoelectronics at South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanics from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2002. Then he started research in Acoustics at SCUT and received Ph.D. degree in Acoustics from SCUT and joined the Acoustic Laboratory as a lecturer in 2009. He was promoted to Associate Professor and Professor of Acoustics in 2011 and 2016, respectively. At present, his research interests include electroacoustics, architectural acoustics, psychoacoustics, spatial audio, binaural hearing and sound signal processing.
