2005 - 2007Developing HBV transgenic mice and doing anti-HBV drug screening in the Transgenic lab of the PLA 458 hospital.   

2008 – 2010Doing research on transgenic and gene knockout pig as human disease animal models in South China Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Institute of Chinese Academy of Science

2011 – now Research on genetically modified cell models and animal models in School of Bioscience and Bioengineering,South China University of Technology

Research interest and achievement

-Research Interests

High and stable expression: construction of high expression mammalian system, gene knockin in safe-harbor position, in step gene reporter system.

Gene knockout or gene mutation: gene knockout or mutation in cells or animals with TALEN, CRISPR/CAS9 technologies. 

-Achievement

 I have implemented 1 project from Natural Science Foundation, 1 project from Guangdong science and technology project, 2 projects from the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. I won the 1st class Guangdong province award of science & technology progression and the 1st class Guangzhou city award of science & technology progression. About 5 SCI paper were published and 2 patents were applied in recent 5 years.

The establishment of minipig CYP3A in vitro expression system and the comparation of its metabolic representation, supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, 2011.12-2012.12Host.
