Research interests:

 The research work is focused on the field of medicinal chemistry, includes: 1) structural modification and the evaluation of biological activity of natural products, with the study on the mechanism of action; 2) new drug discovery based on me-too strategy; 3) optimization of pharmaceutical properties based on prodrug strategy. Drugs for our research involve the regulation of inflammatory response, metabolic syndrome (hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and gyperuricemia), and depression.
