报告摘要:

 Peptide based drugs, traditionally disregarded compared to small compounds therapeutics, have now become plausible candidates for therapeutic development. The recent years have seen the emergence of blockbuster peptide-based therapeutics such as Semaglutide or Tirzepatide that target obesity, and have got cumulated sales for over 40 billion dollars in 2024. This motivates efforts to identify peptide candidates, particularly targeting protein-protein interactions or membrane receptors.  

 Peptide candidate identification can take advantage of in silico approaches that have been setup during the last decade, for the prediction of their structure, in isolation or with their target, and for their optimization. We will review the in silico developments that have been undergone at our team, and attempt to propose a prospective vision of how in silico approaches could contribute in the near future.

报告人简介:

 Pierre Tufféry,法国巴黎西岱大学教授,博士生导师,法国国家科学研究中心 8251中心(CNRS UMR 8251)副主任,法国国家健康与医学研究院1133中心(Inserm ERL 1133)主任。长期从事蛋白质配体相互作用的计算模型构建、治疗性肽的设计和开发、合成生物学等方面的研究。其研究成果先后发表于Chem Soc Rev., Nucleic Acids Res., Drug Discov Today., 和Biomolecules 等国际著名期刊,发表论文超过100篇。
