            Professor Pei Hailong,

Ph.D, Professor, the director of the key lab

He is currently the director of the Key Laboratory of Autonomous Systems and Network Control of the Ministry of Education, the director of the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems, the chief editor of the Chinese Journal of Control Theory and Applications, the person in charge of the Chinese and English journals, and the vice chairman of the Guangdong Automation Society, etc.

The main research directions include autonomous navigation control of unmanned helicopters, coordinated control of network autonomous systems, analysis of embedded systems and design of advanced numerical control systems, etc. He was the first in China to conduct research on small unmanned helicopters, breaking through the key technical difficulties of their autonomous navigation and control. He once presided over the first national fund key project in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. He has successively presided over multiple projects including key national research and development programs, major instrument development projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general projects, major project cultivation plans of the Ministry of Education, industry-university-research cooperation projects of the Ministry of Education, major science and technology projects of Guangdong Province, science and technology plans of Guangzhou, and aviation funds. He has published many high-level papers in SCI, EI and other journals. We have been granted multiple patents and computer software Copyrights. We have designed and developed several sets of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight control systems with complete independent intellectual property rights, and have formed multi-platform application solutions and complete sets of prototypes. We independently developed and designed an airborne laser scanning ranging platform, positioning system, ground station system, etc., and independently developed a new configuration of ducted aircraft. We also designed and improved the horizontal flight control design and modal switching strategy research, as well as the multi-modal flight power scheduling optimization method. The R&D strength in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles is leading in China.
