报告摘要:
Understanding the coherent properties of driven electron spins is crucial for their potential application in quantum-coherent nanoscience. In this talk, we address the origin of the driving field for all-electric electron spin resonance in the case of a quantum impurity connected to polarized leads under radio frequency voltage by using an Anderson impurity model. Mapping the quantum master equation into a system of equations for the impurity spin allows us to identify two distinct driving mechanisms: a magnetically exchange-driven ESR and a spin-torque. This last one closely associated with the DC current and the accumulated spin.

I am currently working on modelating ESR/STM experiments at QNS. The method used consists in implementing a Floquet Green’s Function technique to a standard Anderson impurity Hamiltonian with a spin structure. This allows us to find a master equation for the reduced density matrix which can be solved algebraically so we can potentially compute any desirable observable.
